What benefits me in my job is that people have a particularly well-developed eye for faces. Nowadays, we often communicate based on text, for example in social networks. Then we realize time and again how misleading language can be without facial expressions.

Even emoticons are only a weak substitute. People communicate not only with their voice, but also with their face. Irony, humor and feelings are difficult to express without the face. This is where portrait photography comes into play.
